This Privacy Policy explains how Sites by Andrew VA ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with this website (sitesbyandrewva.com) and our internal social media publishing application (the "App").

1. What the App does

The App is used only by us to publish our own original educational videos to our own accounts. It connects to the TikTok, YouTube (Google), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Pinterest APIs solely to upload and schedule our own content to accounts we own and manage. The App is not offered to the public and does not access accounts belonging to other people.

2. Information we access

• OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by each platform when we authorize the App on our own accounts, so the App can publish on our behalf.
• Basic account/profile information for our own accounts (such as account ID, display name, username and profile picture), so we can identify which account a post goes to.
• Post metadata for the content we publish (such as captions, titles, descriptions, scheduled times, post IDs, upload status and links), so we can schedule posts and confirm they were published.

We do not collect information about viewers, followers or other users of these platforms beyond what a platform shows publicly on our own posts.

3. How we use information

We use this information only to authenticate with the platforms, publish and schedule our own content, and check the status of our own posts. We do not use it for any other purpose.

4. Storage and security

Tokens and post data are stored on our own privately managed server, protected by access controls, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and a firewall. Access is limited to us.

5. No selling or sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data. We do not share data with third parties, except with the platform the data came from as needed to publish our content, or where required by law.

6. No advertising or tracking

This website and the App do not use advertising, analytics trackers, or tracking cookies.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep tokens only while an account remains connected to the App, and post records only as long as needed to manage our publishing. Access can be revoked at any time from the connected platform's settings (for example, TikTok, Google Account, Facebook/Instagram or Pinterest app permissions), after which the token stops working and we delete it. You may also email andrew.smith@sitesbyandrewva.com to request deletion of any data related to you, and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

This website and the App are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
